The Red Centre is iconic Australia! We loved our Outback experience - sleeping under the stars, being covered in red dust, having a shower surrounded by nature and eating damper cooked on the fire. It was great going on a tour and meeting lots of other people from Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and France.
We arrived in Australia exactly two years ago - can't believe it has gone so fast. We have seen so much and would like to see so much more!
Enjoy the photos.

More Adventures Down Under!
I am very sad because I have just said goodbye to Dave and Jenny at the airport. :-( They are off to Thailand for the next part of their trip. We've had a wonderful time with them in Sydney and around Australia. There were so many highlights! One of them was our trip to Fraser Island and Lady Elliot Island over the Easter weekend. We went on a 4WD bus tour around Fraser Island and swam in lakes, saw dingoes, went on a scenic flight over the island and walked through the rainforests. Next was a flight to Lady Elliot Island on the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef. We spent two days snorkelling right from the beach. We swam with turtles, colourful fish and even saw a reef shark! We watched tiny turtle hatchlings come out of their nest and crawl into the sea. It was amazing! It's been fantastic to show Dave and Jenny all the things we love about Sydney including the chocolate bar, beaches, Darling Harbour, Watson's Bay, Palm Beach and Manly.

If all that wasn't exciting enough, we also met up with Deirdre and Andrew for a lovely picnic in the Botanical Gardens. It was great to have a few hours with them to catch up.
Here are a few photographs from our trip at Easter with Dave and Jenny.
Outside our scenic plane on Fraser Island's 75 mile beach. Taking off from the beach was incredible!

Australia continues to amaze us with its natural beauty... this Turtle was the first thing we saw when we went snorkelling on Easter Morning. Just off the beach.
We got the very rare opportunity to see turtles hatching! It was very special seeing them make their way down the beach to the sea.
