Our last day in Sydney was Australia Day where we celebrated in Hyde Park and a lovely meal at Darling Harbour with fireworks of course!
Then it was time to say goodbye to the place that had been our home for nearly 3 years. We've had a wonderful time living in Sydney and exploring Australia and New Zealand. We feel very blessed to have had this amazing opportunity!
On our way back to the UK we spent a week in Cape Town visiting Kay, Keith, Tom and William. It was great to see where they live and have an extra week of sunshine and relaxation before arriving back in England.
Thankfully all our flights were really good and we had extra seats next to us so could spread out and sleep a little. When we arrived, everywhere was covered in snow!! It looked very pretty, but so freezing cold that we didn't go out much for a couple of days!!
It has been lovely to see family and friends. We feel as if we have never been away! We had a lovely weekend in North Wales seeing Eifion's family over Easter and made the most of the sunshine.
Dave and Jenny were down in Watford last week - they have only 2 weeks to go until Baby Warman arrives!! So there is lots to look forward to! Our bumps are getting bigger and bigger as you can see!!
Eifion has now been working in central London for a couple of months which is going well. The commute takes a while but it's going ok. I have been enjoying relaxing and preparing for Baby J to arrive!! Only 5 weeks to go now. We are excited and looking forward to this new adventure and chapter in our lives. We're really glad to be back home amongst family and friends.
Only thing now is we might need to change the blog name...... not sure that 'life in a loud shirt and shorts' applies anymore! Any ideas???
