Jenolan Caves

We headed to Jenolan Caves for the weekend, about a three hour drive inland from Sydney in the Blue Mountains. We stayed in a fantastic cabin with a log fire, spa and great views over the countryside and kangaroos hopping around right outside the door!

On Saturday we went to see the a couple of the Jenolan Caves which were spectacular... They are some of the oldest caves in the world (i'm sure they all say that!) formed over 340 million years ago. Its a bit difficult to describe the caves so you will have to see them sometime.

The climate was a lot cooler, around zero degrees, and if the kangaroos were replaced by sheep it could have been Wales!
